Beach clubs and club nights in Alanya

A wedding is one night with one audience. A venue night is the same room every week in front of whoever walked in, and it is a completely different skill.

Programming, not just playing. A themed night that fills a room twice is worth more to a venue than a DJ who fills it once.

What a night has to do

A venue night in Alanya has one job: bring people back next week. That is not the same as playing well. It means the night has a name, a shape and an audience, and it means the door on week six is bigger than the door on week one.

The two we run at Lui Beach & Lounge are the model. International Night on Wednesdays, 21:00 to 01:00, for a crowd that is Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Russian and northern European in the same room and wants a set that goes everywhere. Persian Night on Saturdays, dinner at 20:00 and floor from 22:00, for an audience that turns up specifically because it is Persian and stays because the crossover works.

Details of both are on our AlanyaHub listing, which is the local directory profile for the Alanya operation and where the current schedule lives.

For venue owners

  • A named night with a shape, not a guest slot. We will build the concept, the audience and the crossover with you.
  • Sound and light as one package. A beach venue with a house system built for background music cannot carry a themed night, and hiring the two separately doubles the number of people you have to manage.
  • Seasonal terms. A residency across the May-to-October season is quoted by the season, not by the night, and it is a lower per-night figure than a one-off.
  • A VJ: music you can see. Visuals mixed live to the set on a screen or a projected wall, cut to the record playing rather than a loop running behind the booth. On a beach at night the screen is the brightest object for a hundred metres, it is the reason a passer-by stops walking, and it is what ends up in every photograph out of your night.
  • Off-season work. November to March is when the resident and expat audience is the whole audience. It is a smaller room and it is a real one.

A year on this coast, from behind the booth

A venue that programmes for the summer and closes its eyes for the winter is running half a business. The audience changes completely between the two, and so does what a night has to be.

Alanya venue nights through the year
WindowWho is in the roomWhat the night has to be
April – MayEarly arrivals, residents coming back out, the shoulder crowd.Opening parties and the first weeks of a residency, while the concept is still being learned.
June – SeptemberPeak. Visitors from a dozen countries in the same room every night.Open format that genuinely goes everywhere. The seams between languages are the whole skill.
20–21 March, NowruzPersian-speaking guests, in numbers, in the shoulder season.Persian music programming shaped in advance with the organiser.
OctoberSea at its warmest, crowds gone, residents back in the good rooms. The best month of the year to run something with a name on it.
November – MarchResidents and expats only. Many resort venues shut.A smaller, closer, more loyal room. Worth programming instead of abandoning.

What we bring to a venue night

Programming
The concept, the audience and the crossover, built with you rather than handed to you.
Sound
Reinforcement where the house system runs out, which on a beach is almost always the low end and the booth monitor.
Light
Enough movement and colour that the room reads on a phone camera, run live rather than left on a chase.
Visuals
A VJ on a screen or a projected wall where the venue has one, cut live to the set. Outdoors it only reads once it is genuinely dark, so it is programmed to start when the floor does rather than at doors.
Crew
Somebody with the system all night, not a delivery and a number.
Ground
Matting and mains protection on sand, every time, including the nights nobody would have noticed.
Terms
Season residencies quoted by the season and lower per night than a one-off. Invoiced properly.

Planning figures only. Your event is priced after we know the venue, guest count and production scope. The written quote you approve is the figure that applies to your booking.

Tell us about the night

Start with the date and the town. If the venue is not chosen yet, that is normal. Most people book us before they book the room.

1. What is the night? Step 1 of 5
Choose a service
Estimate Shown on each option above Planning range in euros. Your written quote is fixed before anything is booked. Turkish lira is available for clients resident in Türkiye, and Turkish VAT is shown separately where it applies.
2. Where in the Antalya region? Step 2 of 5
The hotel, beach club or villa. If it is not chosen yet, say so. That is normal at this stage.
3. When is it? Step 3 of 5
Choose a time window
If the date is not fixed yet, pick the first day of the month you are aiming at. Twelve months is comfortable for a Saturday in June to September, and three months is the least most venues here will take. April, May and October move faster. Under three months, ask anyway: sometimes a date is open.
4. How do we reach you? Step 4 of 5
5. Consent and send Step 5 of 5

Two separate permissions, and they stay separate: ticking one never ticks the other. Both are optional and neither changes how we handle your enquiry. The legal frame, if you want it: in the EU and the UK this is your consent under GDPR and the ePrivacy rules; in Türkiye, under KVKK. Emshab is a Canadian company, so Canadian law governs what we send from our end as well.

No payment now, and nothing is held until a deposit is agreed. We reply within one working day, Istanbul time.

Common questions

Do you do one-off guest sets?

Occasionally, but the work we are interested in is a night with a name and a season behind it. A guest slot fills a room once.

Can you supply sound and lighting for the venue as well?

Yes, and for a themed night you should take both from one supplier. Splitting them is how a night ends up sounding good and looking like a bar.

Do you work outside Alanya?

Along the coast to Manavgat and Side in one direction and Gazipaşa in the other. Antalya city is two hours and we quote the travel openly instead of hiding it in the rate.

What happens in winter?

Many resort venues close from November. The work that continues is resident, expat and private, and it is quieter and closer to town.

What does a venue night cost?

One-off nights and seasonal residencies are scoped separately. The written quote shows the crew, equipment and per-night terms before you commit.

Why does a beach venue need anything beyond its own system?

Because a lounge system is built for a lounge evening. It carries background music and a microphone properly and it runs out of low end and headroom the moment a floor forms. That is not a criticism of the venue; it is what that equipment is for.

Can you run a night in Farsi?

No. DJ services and planning are in English. We can play Persian music, but the DJ does not speak Farsi and does not provide MC services.

Do you play Turkish music?

Here that is not a crossover question: Turkish is the local repertoire and it is the ground the rest of the set is built on. Turkish pop, çiftetelli, halay and roman havası, sitting next to Arabic, Persian and international instead of being announced as a change of subject. On a Wednesday International Night it is the section the local half of the room came for.

Can you put visuals on the screen?

Yes. A VJ mixes clips, loops and a floor camera live to the set, on your screen or on a projected wall. It costs one more operator and it does more for how a beach night photographs than another four fixtures will.
