Room notes
Lui Beach & Lounge: technical
- Address
- Ahmet Tokuş Blv. No:55, 07460, Güller Pınarı, Alanya
- The room
- Open beach frontage with a covered lounge behind it. Two distinct rooms in practice: the sand, which is where the floor ends up, and the covered section, which is where dinner and the speeches work.
- Capacity
- The safe seated and standing capacities depend on the event layout and are confirmed with the venue for each date.
- Load-in
- Boulevard frontage with vehicle access to the edge of the sand, then a push. Budget three hours for a full wedding build rather than the ninety minutes an indoor room of the same size would take. Everything on the sand has to be weighted and matted before it is powered.
- Power
- 230 V / 50 Hz Schuko. The available load at the event position is confirmed with the venue before the system is specified, and we bring suitable distribution.
- In-house sound
- A venue system built for a lounge evening. It carries background music and a microphone properly and it is not a dance-floor system for a wedding. Reception sound is ours.
- Curfew
- Set by the venue, and the residential frontage on the boulevard behind constrains it. Confirmed in writing for each date rather than assumed.
- Lighting
- An open beach has nothing to bounce light off, which is why an outdoor room takes more fixtures than an indoor one of the same size and reads darker if you give it the same rig. The castle on the headland is lit at night and it is the best backdrop on the coast if the floor is positioned to face it.
- Weather
- Onshore breeze picks up through the afternoon and drops after dark. Stands are weighted, covers stay on until doors, and there is a wet-weather position under the covered section that has to be agreed before the day rather than found on it.
Our nights here
- International Night: Wednesdays, 21:00–01:00An open-format night for the crowd this coast actually has: Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Russian and northern European in the same room, with a set that goes everywhere instead of picking one.
- Persian Night: Saturdays, dinner 20:00, floor 22:00–01:00Persian classics into Turkish-Arabic crossover into international floor-fillers, run with DJ Dynamite and MD Band Music. The wedding version of this night is the same night with the family in it.
Current schedule and table bookings are on our AlanyaHub listing.
What to watch for here
- Position the floor so the castle is behind the couple, not behind the booth.
- Dinner on this coast runs long. The floor here does not fill before 22:00 and trying to force it earlier costs you the last hour.
- Sand and mains cable is a matting job, every time, with no exceptions for a small event.
What we bring to this room
A reception system sized to the capacity above and to the fact that it is open beach with nothing to reflect off, a separate ceremony system if the ceremony happens on site, and ambient and decorative lighting at the fixture count an outdoor room actually needs rather than a package number.
We file a technical rider with the venue covering power, load-in route, crew and out time see hotel and resort weddings for what that contains.
If this is a Persian wedding, the Persian wedding page covers the run of show, and the timeline guide sets the whole night out hour by hour.
