AV and rental without a DJ runs from $600 for a single delivered system to $8,000 for a full production build with sound, lighting, drape, staging, screens and crew. Everything is quoted as a line item, so you can see what each part costs before you decide.
What "operated" means
Dry-hire exists and we do a little of it, but almost everything here goes out with an operator, because most of what goes wrong at an event is not equipment failure. It is equipment nobody is watching.
- We site-visit anything we have not done before, or ask the venue for a plan.
- We load in when the venue lets us, not when it is convenient, and we build in the elevator being late.
- Someone stays with the system for the whole event.
- We strike completely and leave the room the way we found it. Venues remember this more than they remember the show.
Technical riders
If your venue asks for a rider, we write one: power requirements, rigging points if any, load-in path, crew count and timing. Most GTA banquet halls want one and most suppliers do not provide it, which is a small, cheap way to be easy to work with.

Common questions
Do you dry-hire equipment without an operator?
Occasionally, for known clients and simple systems. For anything with more than a few channels the answer is usually no, because an unattended system is how events fail.
Do you provide a technical rider for our venue?
Yes, and we send it directly to the venue. It covers power, load-in path, elevator time, crew and insurance.
Can you work alongside our venue's in-house AV?
Yes, and often that is the cheaper route. In-house is usually strong on speech and weak on music and lighting.
Do you run visuals on the screens as well as the screens themselves?
Yes. That is the VJ, and it comes off the same desk as the light. Clips, loops and camera mixed live to the record that is playing rather than a montage looping behind the floor. It is quoted with the screen package.
How far will you travel?
Across the GTA at no surcharge: Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Brampton, Oakville. Beyond that we quote travel honestly instead of hiding it in the total.
