Prices include delivery, placement, the venue conversation, operation on the cue and strike. They assume we are already running your DJ, sound or lighting that night; a standalone effect booking carries a call-out. Dancing on the Clouds runs on our own machine. Cold sparks, lasers and LED video come from production partners we have worked with for years, and our crew installs and runs them.
Cold sparks
A cold spark machine throws a fountain of sparks that looks like pyrotechnics and is cool to the touch a short distance from the machine. There is no flame and no gunpowder, which is why many venues that ban fireworks indoors will allow them. Many is not all: we confirm with the venue in writing before we quote.

Lasers and LED video
Lasers belong above the crowd, never in it. We run them over the dance floor for the party half of the night, on a lighting package so the beams have haze to read in, and only where the venue permits haze and lasers.
LED video is the effect corporate rooms and club nights ask for: a wall or columns behind the booth or stage carrying your brand, your footage or visuals cut live to the set. It is sized and quoted per room, and it pairs with a VJ.
What the venue has to agree to
- Dry ice: a 15A circuit near the floor, a hard floor surface and normal ventilation.
- Cold sparks: written approval, a clear zone around each machine and nothing flammable overhead.
- Lasers and haze: permission for water-based haze, and a detector plan if the venue asks for one.
- LED video: floor loading, power and a load-in path wide enough for the cases.
Pricing assumes standard venue access and production requirements. Complex load-ins, extended production hours, additional technicians, travel, rigging or late-night strikes may affect the final quote, and appear as their own line before you book.

Common questions
Are cold sparks safe indoors?
They are designed for indoor use: no flame, no explosive, and the sparks are cool a short distance from the machine. We still treat them as a venue decision, confirm approval in writing, keep a clear zone around each machine and run them with an operator standing beside them.
Can we have cold sparks and Dancing on the Clouds together?
Yes, and it is the most requested combination: cloud on the floor, sparks either side, for the first dance. Dancing on the Clouds is $595 and two cold spark machines are $650.
Will effects set off the fire alarm?
Dry ice does not normally trigger optical smoke detectors. Haze for lasers can, which is why we agree a detector plan with the venue in advance rather than finding out at the first beam.
Do you own the effects equipment?
The dry-ice machine is ours. Cold sparks, lasers and LED video come from production partners we have worked with for years, and they are installed and run by our crew on the night.
