Persian wedding at Terrace Banquet Centre

A 420-guest Persian wedding with the aghd in the same building as the reception, three hours apart, in a room that had to be flipped between them.

Ballroom rigged for a reception, white drape cones uplit blue and violet with the dance floor empty

What we did

  • Separate ceremony system for the aghd with a lavalier on the officiant and a wired backup on the floor
  • Warm front-angle wash on the Sofreh Aghd with the pot lights above it killed
  • Thirty-five uplighters on the perimeter in amber, set in the room rather than to a swatch
  • Full reception rig with two 18" subs off-axis from the head table
  • Raghs-e Chaghoo run long, straight into the Persian set
  • Crossover set from 10:45pm for a mixed family
